Quick Bluetooth --> Assign one of the Navigation key shortcuts to bluetooth "Turn on". This way, whenever you press up for example, bluetooth turns on/off.
Quick Add Number --> Type in number then goto "Other" > Save nr. > New contact.
USB Charger takes longer than Wall Charger. The USB charger also doesn't fully charge the phone.
Find out firmware --> Access service menu (see above) then goto service info>software info and it should be on the top line.
Text Files:
Handling .txt files:
* txt files are saved in web pages\save_pages folder.
* You can create .txt files with a windows Notepad or any word processing file and then send the file via USB to the folder mentioned above.
* I've noticed that if a Nokia sends me a txt file, when its opened the first letter of the message appears only. It appears that the text message body is saved in the filename, therefore, a long filename will not appear. Thus to view the message, after it has been save in the saved pages folder, view it's information, and the message will be seen in full. I have experienced this with one user, I'm not sure if the user deliberately types the message in the filename field or if thats how nokia works.
* Another way of creating text files is by using word and savnig them as a web page(htm). This is useful if you are using foreign characters, as they will sometimes not appear if saved as .txt.

1. Sony Ericsson Secret Menu: -> * <- <- * <- * (-> means press joystick, arrow keys or jogdial to the right and <- means left.) You'll see phone model, software info, IMEI, configuration info, sim lock status, REAL time clock, total call time and text labels. You can also test your phones services and hardware from this menu (main display, camera, LED/illumination, Flash LED, keyboard, earphone, speaker, microphone, radio and vibrator tests)

Flash wallpaper & screensaver images for sony ericsson
Here the set of ".swf " files for sony ericsson mobiles to set wallpapers* and screen savers*.

At the end , u make a ZIP archive of both things ( togheter ) , put it in Misc , and after press Flash in Se-tool

Easy flashing procedures for sony ericsson
Before start the process read the article fully...
1. First install setoolon your system.
2. After that install one more software named gg-setup.
3. now download"advanced bass w200.zip" ( request if u need more drivers or other modification files by ur comment)4. if u r downloaded a specific file frm there. Then u wil get a zip file and just extract it.then u can see again a zip file named "ifs".this is our master file for flashing.but, dont unzip that ifs.
5. then just open the software setool.exe which u downloaded early. here we shouldmore careful bcoz there is a chance to damage ur phone if u are doing anything wrong.6. ok just select the phone model as w200.then just open that "ifs" zip file in the "MISC FILES" tab. (dont upload anything in other tabs). now u can c the path of that ifs.zip file in the MISC tab.
7. switch off ur phone.then plug the usb cable but dont connect the phone.
8. click "FLASH".Then the software tells u to "hold ur phone's "C" button and connect the cable".do it correctly. (when u connecting the 1st time the cable to phone windows automatically copy the drivers for flash cable.after finishing the driver setup just click again flash and do the same step.)after sometime it shows ready. then disconnet ur phone and switch on. SEE THE MAGIC! now.
Here sony ericsson w200i audio bass modification driver has taken as the examle... the same procedure is for other mobiles and other drivers( camera and display) but the flahing file may vary(ifs file that uploaded in MISC tab). the firmwares and features easily. Its processor has very good capability to drive the flash contents like *.swf files.So the flsh
themes can be installed in this mobile very easily. The customization operation can be done by using the various softwares like
" FAR manager " , " XS++ ", " SEtool " and " JD flasher". Each one has different kind of advantages and disadvantages.
My recomendation is " XS++ " for beginners, but some kind of things like applying the path and few modification functions are very difficult in this software. But if u become pro in the above software you can handle the others easily. This mobile also supports cross flashing. That means you can change the W200i to some other model like K310. Here the most important thing is you can increase the sound above the provided limit by applying the sound files to their appropriate locations. In the same way you can apply the best camdrivers to improve the camera quality and display drivers to improve the sharpness of the screen. There are lot of driver codes makers to improve the performance of the appropriate parts like BrAzzUkA and Darksun. In this mobile you can apply flash image as screen savers and wallpares. There are few more intresting patches like FM without headset, running camera while other application is runnig and etc. If you want to explore new things in very cheap mobile , dont have a doubt just pick it in your hand.

Removing camera shutter sound in sony ericsson*
This tutorial teaches you about how to remove the camera shutter sound from ur sony ericsson mobile.
By replacing the internal shutter sound , with an empty one , u will get no sound when taking pictures in normal mode ( not only in silent mode ) . To do that , we have to replace camerashutter2 located here in "tpa\preset\system\sound" ( zip archive , add in Misc in Se-tool , press flash ). After u flash this archive to your phone , go to camera , select More , go to Shutter sound , and select Shutter sound 2 ( this is the empty one created by us )
